"I believe that Holy Cross Energy should provide consumers with highly reliable electric service at a reasonable cost, balanced with renewable power supply; energy conservation, energy efficiency and consumer service programs."
My name is Robert H. Gardner. I have been nominated for the open seat on the Holy Cross Energy's Board of Directors, representing the Southern Director District spanning El Jebel through Aspen.
Holy Cross Energy is a not for profit, Member owned, Cooperative Electric Utility serving nearly 55,000 consumers in Eagle, Garfield and Pitkin Counties. As a Cooperative, Holy Cross is governed by a seven member Board of Directors who are elected from and by Holy Cross member/consumers. Each Director represents one of three districts within Holy Cross's service territory and are elected to three year terms.
Holy Cross is big business, providing electric energy to nearly 55,000 homes and businesses generating over $100 million in revenue each year. Holy Cross and it's consumers need Board members with experience, education and foresight.
"I believe that my education, experience, knowledge and unique understanding of Holy Cross's consumers and service territory, along with my commitment to provide reliable electric service at a reasonable cost as clean and green as possible, makes me uniquely qualified to represent you on the Holy Cross Board of Directors. I ask for your vote. Thank you."
